For the second day of the THN
Manathon, we are very LUCKY to see a behind the scenes preview of Jose Jhan's new
collection for Dominicana Moda!
Perfect, right?
Jose’s new collection, is entitled
Come Fly with Me, after the famous
Frank Sinatra tune.
He describes the collection as a passport of style, from Los Angeles to
India that he has gained through his worldwide travels and friendships. From looking at the photos, I know his
runway show will be AMAZING. With
the COOL mix of fabrics, look of the models, and the overall attitude of the
show, how could it not be? This
show will be different from any he has done in the past.
Another AMAZING aspect of this
show is that its proceeds will benefit Ayuda
a la Educacion de Diabeticos Aprendiendo a Vivir, a charity that educates
those with diabetes. His show will
take place on October 21st at 7 p.m.
Jose Jhan is one of the BEST
Dominican designers and I am so PROUD and EXCITED for this new collection. If you can, try to check out the show

“Come Fly With me” es la visión de estilo de lo que he visto en el mundo. De todo lo que he disfrutado en cuanto a gastronomía, ocio y de la cantidad de amigos de todas las nacionalidades. Es un pasaporte de estilo que fui creando entre tantas escalas y esperas en aeropuertos. Es el modo de no aburrirme, de ver moda y formas de indumentarias en miles de hombres en distintas terminales. Así expreso el diseñador, quien también agrego, “Este hombre no viaja por trabajo. Es de los que utiliza las estaciones como verbo: “veraneaba e invernaba”. Es un intelectual del jet set de la época dorada. Juega al golf en sus vacaciones. Este hombre es un nómada con estilo que se pasea por Acapulco en traje de lino, con gabardina en Londres, con gamuza en las fiestas de París. En la década de los 50 viajar en avión era sinónimo de glamour y, literalmente, este hombre es la “Élite del aire”.

,tenemos la suerte de estar detrás las escenas de la Colección “Come Fly With
Me” de el gran diseñador Dominicano Jose Jhan.
Su
Colección se llama “Come Fly With Me” inspirada por los tiempo de Frank
Sinatra. Jose Jhan Describe la Colección de esta forma como pudimos ver en la
rueda de prensa :

tiene una visión diferente a todos los demás siempre tiene ideas muy
innovadoras y unicas . Estoy muy emocionada con su Collection y no puedo
esperar hasta verla en Dominicana Moda!
