To close our four-day THN manathon,
I wanted to showcase my top five male fashion icons of all time! We all need inspiration from time to
time!
First, there is my FAVORITE, the
one and only Frank Sinatra. As the leader of
The Rat Pack, his style defined the
1950s and 1960s and is still alive today.
He always wore perfectly tailored suits that made his look REFINED, but
COOL. He always topped off his
looks with AMAZING skinny ties and classic fedoras.
Next, we have the LEGENDARY Giorgio Armani! Mr. Armani leads one of the most
AMAZING fashion houses in the world, known for its Italian high style and impeccable
taste. His designs are always
ELEGANT and his creations are consistently seen on the world’s most GLAMOROUS
red carpets.
My third male fashion icon is
LITERALLY the sexiest man alive: Tom
Ford. He is the
KING of advertising, as his ads and designs are always evocative and SEXY,
while still being luxurious. Tom Ford is my fashion role
model because he has brought his style sense to many legendary fashion houses,
modernizing them to give their customers exactly what they want. Plus he now has his own VERY successful
namesake line. Tom KNOWS how to
make a women look powerful and seductive, which is part of the reason he was
named Menswear Designer of the Year
by the Council of Fashion Designers of America in 2008.
David
Beckham, the English football superstar, is my fourth male
fashion icon of all time. He has
transformed from being a bloke playing football to a STYLISH, clean-cut fashion
maven. Even when he’s wearing the
most classic ensemble, he brings in just the right amount of sportswear to give
the outfit something EXTRA. David
is definitely responsible for making athletes a force to be reckoned within
the fashion world!
Lastly, there is Kanye
West. Kanye is not only
an influential American rapper, but also a full-on entrepreneur with his own
empire. He truly embodies the word
SWAGER. You can tell he has a
UNIQUE flair for fashion, from his music videos to his AMAZING new women’s
collection. Everything he creates
has his signature look: streetwear-meets-high fashion. I LOVE him!
