THN on Radio Moda

Today I had one of the COOLEST experiences on the island… appearing as a guest on the radio station, Radio Moda!   At first I was SO nervous, but once I relaxed, I had a blast!!

Thank you so much to Carlos and Airam for having me on their show (and taking the first pix), it means the world to me!    Thanks also to my GREAT friend Manuel for capturing the moment on his iPhone (second pix).

P.S.  Tomorrow starts my AMAZING new photography course.  I am SO excited to go and, while I’m gone, my editor Jenny will post for me.  Enjoy!

Neon Sensation

Neon & Pastels

In honor of this year’s unseasonably warm winter, spice up your winter wardrobes with these AMAZINGLY colorful looks.  Hit it hard with SUPER BRIGHT neon or go sugary-sweet with pastels.

To get the Neon look, try a Michael Kors green dress, Giuseppe Zanotti pink shoes, a COOL clutch from Zappos.com, and Erickson Beamon earrings from SHOPBOP.  If you don’t want to over do it with the pink and yellow, you can always wear black shoes instead.

Jeffrey Campbell Studded Loafers

Ok I know loafers are considered boy shoes, but I just fell in LOVE wit these studded beauties from Jeffrey Campbell.  They are so CUTE and COMFY that I just had to have them.

Studs and Skulls

These beauties are now my favorite items for this winter season: a black studded bracelet and my skull ring from the THN BAZAAR.  I bought this TOUGH-LUXE bracelet in The Dominican Republic at designer Sharon Sued’s store.

Although the bracelet came in both purple and gold, I thought the black was the PERFECT choice…  what do you think?

First Post of 2012 - Holiday In The Tropics

Hi everyone!  Welcome to the first THN post of 2012!  Sorry it’s been awhile since I’ve posted, but THN was on holiday J.  But now we are back in action! 

Today’s photo shoot takes place in the very special La Romana (Casa de Campo) here on my beautiful island, The Dominican Republic.  This trip has been one of the most important holidays of my life!

For this photo shoot, Marcelle is rocking the PERFECT beach holiday look… looking SOPHISTICATED and CASUAL at the same time!   She is wearing an ASOS orange Arabian-style dress (PERFECT for the blog), THN BAZAAR accessories, and sandals from Mykonos.
