Balmain Spring/Summer 2012

I just LOVE the Spring 2012 collection from Balmain.  It is just AMAXING, from the cuts, the textiles, and the prints.   AND the way he mixed denim with high couture details was such a breath of fresh air.

This collection was designed by Olivier Rousteing, Balmain’s new head designer.  Can you believe he is only 25 years old? 

This is by far one of my favorite collections from Balmain… what do you guys think?

Burberry Prorsum Pre-Fall 2012

I have fallen in LOVE with all the new designer collections for pre-fall 2012, but this one, by Burberry Prorsum, is by far one of my favorites.

The collection is full of sleek tweeds in muted colors, with fun elements like bows and owl designs.  The pieces look so COOL and are PERFECT for crisp fall days.

Fashion Meets Design

Hey, guys!  I’m so excited to tell you about this COOL new hotel in Amsterdam, thanks to Eileen from Eclectic Interior for the tip.

The Exchange is a new concept hotel in Amsterdam that combines fashion and architecture in one space. Designers from the Amsterdam Fashion Institute especially designed each room like they would a model on a runway.  Each designer designed their room based on a specific theme, like Marie Antoinette or The Emperor’s New Clothes.  This hotel is the brainchild of the creators of Lloyd Hotel & Cultural Embassy in Amsterdam.

I am in LOVE with this hotel!  You can sleep in fashion and wake up in style… which room is your favorite?

Skulls at the THN BAZAAR

Skulls are all over the place at the vintage market… I almost fainted!  I LOVE incorporating skulls in rings and bangles because they make any outfit look FIERCE.
