Dominicana Moda "Day 5 " Part I
The fifth day of Dominicana Moda
was also one for the books!
Firstly, Jose Jhan presented his “Come Fly With Me” collection, blowing everyone away! He made guests feel like they where
traveling in the tropics, with the music, the vintage luggage and the EXQUISITE
menswear collection. He also won
the Best Collection award for this year’s Dominicana Moda! Congratulations to my very TALENTED
friend!
Secondly, Juan Cotes showed his “Alegórica” collection. He showed the pastel color trend, but had an AMAZING way of combining the pieces. The collection was SWEET and BOLD at the same time!

Marchesa in Dominicana Moda "last day"
Good morning everyone, I hope you all
are having a wonderful Sunday!
Today is the first day of THN’s Dominicana
Moda review, but I am going to do it in a different way. I will be posting backwards, starting from
the last day of DM to the first.
Today’s post features the Marchesa runway show. As always, the collection was very ELEGANT
and ROMANTIC. The color palette was
of gold, ivory, beige, and pastels. The CHARMING dresses had beautiful details of feathers and
silk strings. This collection reminds me of Marie Antoinette with a more
elegant 1950s feel.
This is the perfect collection for
the next Spring/Summer 2012! Thank

Gwen Stefani Children's Line for TARGET
Gwen Stefani,
AMAZING rocker and fashionista, is launching a new children’s clothing line at
American retailer Target. Named Harajuku Mini,
this new line was designed for SUPER HIP babies, children, and tweens. To tie in with her very famous L.A.M.B. line, the inspiration for this
new collection is Japanese anime.
Target is KILLING it this year
with their collaborations. First
they paired with Missoni for a super CHILL line of knits, which was a huge success.
Now they are working with fashion maven Stefani!
I can’t wait for this
collection! It’s going to be CRAZY
and FUN… I know kids will be dying to wear these pieces.

13!
